In-N-Out Burger has sold the same short list of burgers, fries, shakes and drinks since 1948. Six lines cover the board. Everything else that gets ordered is a variation on those six, called out at the counter rather than read off a wall.
This In-N-Out menu lists all 45 items the chain sells, section by section, with a calorie count beside each one. Ranges appear where a size genuinely spans them. Free extras sit in the same tables as paid ones, because the counter treats them the same way.
The short answer
The In-N-Out menu runs to six burgers, six combos, six fries, six shakes, nine drinks and twelve extras. Nothing rotates in for a season. The tables below give a calorie count and a price for all 45 items, including the nine extras that cost nothing at all.

In-N-Out Menu Prices and Calories
In-N-Out Burger groups its board into burgers, combo meals, fries, shakes, drinks and the extras that go on a burger. Six tables follow that order. Each row names one item, gives its calorie figure and gives what the counter charges for it.
Calorie figures on this In-N-Out menu come from a single published source rather than a blend of several. Where the source gives a range, the range is reproduced. Nothing here is averaged, rounded or quietly filled in from a second sheet, and a field the source left empty stays empty.
In-N-Out Burger Prices
Every burger starts from the same fresh patty, cooked to order, with lettuce, tomato and spread on a toasted bun. The Double-Double stacks two patties and two slices of cheese. Numbered builds climb from there, and staff will keep stacking well past the four the board prints, which is where the off-menu orders begin.
| Item | Calories | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Hamburger | 390 | $3.69 |
| Cheeseburger | 480 | $4.19 |
| Double-Double Burger | 670 | $5.89 |
| Double Meat Burger | 570 | $5.19 |
| 3×3 Burger | 860 | $8.39 |
| 4×4 Burger | 1,050 | $10.89 |
In-N-Out Combo Meal Prices
Combo Meals pair any burger on the In-N-Out menu with fries and a drink. Calorie totals climb accordingly, since the fries and the soft drink both land inside the single figure printed against the combo. Four cup sizes sit behind one listing.
| Item | Calories | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Hamburger Combo | 960 | $9.24 |
| Cheeseburger Combo | 1,050 | $9.74 |
| Double-Double Combo | 1,240 | $11.44 |
| Double Meat Combo | 1,140 | $10.74 |
| 3×3 Combo | 1,430 | $13.94 |
| 4×4 Combo | 1,620 | $16.44 |
In-N-Out Fries Prices
Fries are cut from whole potatoes inside the restaurant. Four cooking styles come off that one cut, and each is asked for by name at the counter rather than picked from the board. Cheese Fries and Animal Style Fries add sauce, grilled onions and spread.
| Item | Calories | Price |
|---|---|---|
| French Fries | 370 | $2.79 |
| Light Fries | 370 | $2.79 |
| Well-Done Fries | 370 | $2.79 |
| Light-Well Fries | 370 | $2.79 |
| Cheese Fries | 550 | $4.39 |
| Animal Style Fries | 750 | $5.29 |
In-N-Out Shake Prices
Shakes are blended from real ice cream. Neapolitan and Black & White mix two or three of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry in one cup. Root Beer Float pours soft drink over that same ice cream, which is why its calorie figure runs as a range.
| Item | Calories | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Chocolate Shake | 590 | $3.29 |
| Vanilla Shake | 570 | $3.29 |
| Strawberry Shake | 610 | $3.29 |
| Neapolitan Shake | 590 | $3.29 |
| Black & White Shake | 580 | $3.29 |
| Root Beer Float | 450–650 | $4.59 |
In-N-Out Drink Prices
Four cup sizes cover the fountain, and the calorie range on each reflects whether the cup holds diet or regular. Iced Tea and Pink Lemonade pour from that station too. Milk, coffee and hot cocoa round out the list.
| Item | Calories | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Small Soft Drink | 0–150 | $2.19 |
| Medium Soft Drink | 0–200 | $2.34 |
| Large Soft Drink | 0–270 | $2.54 |
| X-Large Soft Drink | 0–310 | $2.74 |

| Milk | 180 | $1.79 |
| Coffee | 5 | $1.49 |
| Hot Cocoa | 160 | $2.49 |
In-N-Out Sides and Extras Prices
Nine of the twelve extras go on for nothing. Grilled Onion, chopped chilies, pickles and extra lettuce all reach the burger at no charge, which is unusual on a fast-food board. Three lines carry a charge: an extra cheese slice, an extra beef patty and the Pup Patty.

What to Expect Inside an In-N-Out
The In-N-Out menu board hangs above the counter in the same six columns at every restaurant. Order there or from the drive-thru speaker, then take a number. Food goes on the grill after the order is rung in, so a busy lunch means a wait of several minutes.
In-N-Out Burger cooks patties from beef that has never been frozen, and the potatoes are cut in the building. Palm trees crossed in an X mark many restaurants, a nod to a film Harry Snyder loved. Bible references sit printed under the cups and wrappers, and a separate page covers what each item declares.
