How the Chili’s Secret Menu Works
Chili’s builds almost everything to order, in a full-service dining room rather than a counter queue. Sauces that sit on the wings and the crispers move onto mozzarella, and a platter slot takes any starter the kitchen already preps. Starters sold on their own stack three at a time onto a Triple Dipper platter.
Say the build out loud rather than asking for a secret item, and name each component in order. Prices and calories below come from the dish each build is charged as, never from the swap itself. Two mozzarella builds have since moved onto the printed menu.
Chili’s Secret Menu Mozzarella Builds
Fried Mozzarella comes breaded, fried and served with marinara, and the sauces that move onto it come off the wings and the crispers. Honey-Chipotle sauce and Nashville Hot seasoning both started as off-menu asks on the Chili’s secret menu. Both now appear in print.

Chili’s Off-Menu Queso, Chips and Crispers Orders
Skillet Beef Queso arrives in its own cast-iron dish with a chip basket beside it. Poured over the chips it becomes nachos, and ranch mixed half and half with salsa becomes a dip of its own. Nashville Hot Chicken Crispers take extra pickles for the asking.
