The quickest way to make MenuQuill better is to tell me when it is wrong. I read everything that arrives, and corrections go to the front of the queue.
Report a price that looks wrong
A report I can act on straight away has four things in it. Without them I am guessing which of several thousand rows you mean.
- The chain. Which restaurant, exactly — some brands run more than one format under similar names.
- The exact item. The name as it appears on the board, plus the size or the combo if the price depends on it.
- The price you saw. The menu-board price before tax. Say so if you were ordering through a delivery app, because those are priced separately.
- Roughly where. City and state is plenty. I don’t need your address — just enough to tell a regional price from a national one.
A photo of the menu board or of your receipt makes a report unarguable, but it isn’t required.
Send a message
The form below reaches me directly. Name, email and message are all it needs; the drop-down just tells me which pile to put it in.
I answer most messages within a few days. MenuQuill is a one-person publication, so occasionally it is a little longer.
Email me directly
If you would rather not use a form, write to asksophiateam@gmail.com. It reaches the same inbox, and a reply comes from the same person.
Press, permissions and sources
Questions about quoting MenuQuill, correcting an attribution, or how a particular figure was arrived at are all welcome at the same address. The terms and conditions set out what you may reuse without asking.
What I can’t help with
- Orders, refunds, delivery problems and complaints about a meal. MenuQuill is not affiliated with any restaurant, so please contact the chain directly.
- Reservations, gift cards, loyalty accounts and app trouble, for the same reason.
- Job applications. I don’t hire on behalf of any restaurant, and MenuQuill is one person.
